Travel & Play

This is our Hotel Spotlight ,

where we have an inside look at places that wowed us … or those we are eager to explore

Want to immerse yourself in New York City’s grit and glitz? Want a few nights out feeling like a local at rowdy cocktail dens, days spent wandering eclectic art galleries … a coffee here, a fantastic plate of pasta there? The Ludlow Hotel is your place. Located in the Lower East Side, steps away from some of the best restaurants and bars in the world, this place is essentially a dream Pinterest loft apartment turned into a boutique hotel.

The Ludlow Hotel

The Baller Accommodations: The Penthouse. At 1,500 square feet, this home-away-from-home can accommodate 6 guests at the dinner table or dozens for drinks on the adjoining 1000-square-foot patio that overlooks the colorful tops of the converted tenement buildings of the Lower East Side.

Price of Penthouse Perks? Roughly $1,300 per night.

New York Local Tip: The lobby Wi-Fi is free. The lobby coffee is free until 9am. And, it’s just damn darling to sit in the sunny, glassed atrium. There’s a roaring fire in winter, squishy leather couches year-round, and an attached restaurant called Dirty French. Get the French Dip sandwich. If you need us, and cannot find us … we are likely at The Ludlow.
