Of course, there are ample reasons to pop a bottle of bubbly, be it Champagne, Prosecco, or the once-in-a-lifetime Sparkling Wine that we gave members in December. Love or love lost. A graduation. A birth. Landing that big sales meeting or finally retiring. Hell … a hair cut on a Tuesday sends us to the fridge door.

1 ounce Creme de Cassis
3 ounces sparkling wine
Glass : Champagne Flute
Method: Pour the Creme de Cassis into the bottom of a Champagne flute. Top with bubbly.
NOTE** Try different levels. Some people prefer less cassis, creating a slightly more tart, less sweet Kir. There is no wrong answer, only personal preference.
