Eat & Drink

Music City Food & Wine barrels into Nashville this weekend!

This event celebrates star chef talent, and the city’s culinary history (Hot Chicken, anyone?) via more than 80 events, tastings and competitions.

There’s even a Gospel Brunch and enough BBQ to satiate you for a year.

If you are in the area, make sure to grab tickets.

One of the hottest tickets in town is at Adele’s on Friday.

Adele’s combines an open, airy, loft-like setting in the Gulch neighborhood with beautiful, updated Southern classic staples. Their Sunday Brunch Buffet is a legendary option for capping off any weekend. They serve Whole Roasted Pig, Sausage Gravy, their signature Mac ‘n Cheese, and … oh … roughly 60 other items. It happens each and every week!

Adele’s is taking their iconic Buffet and throwing it on a Friday for the Music City Food & Wine this year, all focused around their love of rosé wines. Tickets are here.

We hope our Nashville members can make it to the event.

For the rest of us who can’t swing it, their bartenders were kind enough to grace us with a great recipe combining two of our favorite things: cold, crisp rosé & Codigo Tequila.

This Tiki Caribe cocktail goes down smooth and easy, with minimal hassle to make and maximum bright, fresh flavor.

Tiki Caribe from Adele’s

1.5 oz. Codigo 1530 Rosa
1.5 oz. rosé (Do you have any of that Magnum La Vice En Rosé left?)
0.5 oz. Velvet Falernum
0.25 oz. fresh lime juice

METHOD:

Combine all ingredients in a shaker over ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into a coup or martini glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.
